What is a Coaching Patterns Guide?
The Coaching Patterns Guide is an educational format designed for people who not only want to use coaching patterns for their own benefit, but also wish to apply them effectively when working with groups, teams or coachees.
How does a guide differ from users of the card sets?
The card set can also be used for personal reflection. The Coaching Patterns Guide takes it a step further: you use the cards in coaching sessions, workshops and development settings with others — with onboarding, resources and access to the Guide Room.
As a guide, do I need prior knowledge of Kanban?
No. The Coaching Patterns Guide is not limited to teams or organisations that work exclusively with Kanban. The format is particularly well suited to situations where work systems are to be deliberately improved and change is to be managed in an evolutionary manner.
What prior knowledge is useful?
Experience in coaching, facilitation, training or organisational development is beneficial, as is a sound understanding of Kanban and work systems. A qualification such as the Kanban Management Professional (Kanban University) provides a solid foundation, but is not a formal requirement.
Who particularly suitable for the Coaching Patterns Guide?
This format is particularly well suited to Agile coaches, Kanban coaches, Scrum Masters, consultants, trainers and those who support and develop coaches or coaching teams.
What does the onboarding include?
You will get started with the Guide Starter Kit. It combines physical materials, digital resources, onboarding and access to the Guide Room for six months.
What is the Guide Room, and what can I find there?
The Guide Room is a dedicated area for all Coaching Pattern Guides here on the platform.
In the Guide Room, you’ll find Kartenmix, starter scenarios, workshop agendas, the card navigator, opportunities for discussion, dates and further resources for practical work with Coaching Patterns.
